Event Courses & Maps

  • Important Notice

The GOLDRUSH event has been very fortunate to have been granted access to private land on race days only. Unauthorized access to private land is not only considered trespassing, it is both unresponsible and could very well be extremely dangerous. Private landowners stock welfare, pasture/crop management, pest management, and related farming practices is their priority all year round. Entrants are prohibited from entering private land anytime other than during the event. Any entrants caught on any private land not only face the legal repercussions but will put the events future in jeopardy for all other entrants.

  • Note

Note: Certain parts of the course traverse private land. These sections have purposely been left of the map and otherwise marked PRIVATE PROPERTY / OUT OF BOUNDS, as entrants are prohibited from entering other than during the event. In an attempt to assist any entrants who wish to train sections of the course which are on public i.e., Council, Land & Information NZ (LINZ) and Department of Conservation (DoC) land; we have proposed some training routes with dashed lines to link up the missing sections. Please always check the weather forecast first, inform others of your intentions, practice with others and travel well prepared to sufficiently achieve your plans. No one wants to be part of a disaster story.
